Smith's experienced team of engineers are accomplished in the successful industrialisation of complex 3, 4 and 5 axis machined components. Utilising software from EdgeCAM we are able quickly take a solid model and generate a machine programme. We are able to accept data in the following formats:

IGES
CATIA
DWG/DXF
VDA-FS
Parasolid
Solid Edge
Solid Works
STEP
STL

As well as being a CAD/CAM package EdgeCAM also contains machining simulation functions ensuring there are no false cuts during the actual machining stage.

We are also able to utilise customer machine programs generated via PEPS & Graphcam.
